AI automation, software and web development
DSRF Softech Studios takes projects from a first idea to a deployed system: AI automation, custom software, websites, MVPs, performance work and self-hosted software.
AI automation
AI automation means using software, often including language models, to handle work that people repeat: sorting incoming messages, extracting data from invoices and forms, drafting replies, and answering questions from your own documents. It works best on tasks that are frequent, follow clear rules and tolerate a review step. We start by mapping the work your team actually does, pick the tasks where automation saves the most time, and build them with ordinary code wherever a model is not needed. Where a model is needed, we add checks and a human review point, so a wrong answer is caught before it becomes a wrong decision. If your data cannot leave your network, the model can run on your own hardware instead of a cloud service.
- Workflow automation across the tools you already use
- Assistants and chat interfaces that answer from your own documents
- Document and email processing: extraction, sorting and summaries
- Private models that run on your own hardware
Running AI on your own hardware
We have done this ourselves. The assistant in VORLAN runs on a local model through Ollama, and no conversation leaves the machine.
Custom software and backend systems
When off-the-shelf tools stop fitting, we build the system you actually need: the API, the database and the interface people use every day. We mainly work in JavaScript, with Node.js on the back end and React on the front end.
- APIs and back-end services
- Databases and data migrations
- Accounts, authentication and role-based access
- Integrations with third-party services
- Admin panels and internal tools
Websites, e-commerce and landing pages
Marketing sites, online stores and landing pages that are considered in design, work on a phone first and load quickly.
- Responsive design, tested at real screen sizes
- Online stores with the catalogue and checkout your business needs
- Technical SEO built in: semantic markup, metadata, structured data and sitemaps
- Accessibility from the first commit
MVP development
A minimum viable product is the smallest version that answers a real question about your idea. We help you decide what goes into the first version, build it, and leave you a codebase you can keep building on.
- A scoping session that cuts the feature list to what matters
- A working, deployed first version
- A foundation that can grow, not a throwaway prototype
- Handover documentation
Website performance optimization
Speed affects both how many visitors stay and how well a page ranks. We measure your site against Core Web Vitals (loading, responsiveness and layout stability), find what slows it down and fix it.
- An audit of loading speed, responsiveness and layout stability
- Image, font and script optimization
- Layout fixes for phones and tablets
- A before-and-after report you can read
Local-first and self-hosted software
Some software should not depend on someone else’s servers. We build systems that run on hardware you control, on your own network, and keep working when the internet does not. VORLAN is our example of the approach.
- Software that runs on a home or office server
- Local storage, cameras and device management
- Installers and update paths for Linux machines
- Security and privacy designed in from the start
FAQ
Questions we get asked
What is AI automation?
AI automation uses software, often including language models, to handle work that people repeat: sorting messages, extracting data from documents, drafting replies and answering questions from internal information. We combine AI with ordinary code and add checks, so the results are reliable enough to use.
Can AI run on our own servers instead of in the cloud?
Yes. Open models can run on your own hardware, which keeps sensitive data on your network. Smaller local models are less capable than the largest hosted ones, so we test on your real tasks before recommending either approach. The assistant in our product VORLAN runs this way.
How long does an MVP take?
It depends on scope, so we do not quote a number before we understand what you need. After an initial conversation we send a written scope, cost and timeline.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Yes. Most projects connect to something that already exists, such as a database, a CRM or an online store. We review what you have first and build around it.
